New hires are able to register for an account to register for their benefits on the first Monday on or after their hire date. The Intact benefits enrollment site can be accessed online by visiting or via mobile app by downloading the Benefitfocus mobile app and using the company code intactusa. Once you reach the login screen, simply select “Create an Account” and follow the instructions to set up your login ID and password.

To begin your benefit enrollment, locate the “Enroll Now!” widget at the top of the page, then click the "Click Here to View Your Benefits” link. You are required to elect or waive each benefit, in the order they are offered.  Once you complete your enrollment and see the green checkmark, you should save and/or print your confirmation statement.

If you added any dependents to your coverage you will also need to provide the dependent verification documents (please see the section below for more information on this requirement) prior to your coverage being approved and sent to the benefit carriers. Benefit elections and dependent verification documents are approved on Wednesdays so if you are looking to expedite your enrollment process you will want to submit the documentation for approval by Tuesday. 

Once approved, the carriers will receive your enrollment on the Thursday enrollment file and should have your coverage loaded to their system within a day or two. Once your enrollment is received by the carriers it takes 7-10 days to receive your cards in the mail. If you need your enrollment information prior to receiving the cards in the mail, you will want to contact BCBS of MN or Delta Dental directly for your enrollment information. Employees may make changes to their benefit elections mid-year if they experience a qualifying life event (marriage, divorce, birth, adoption, or a gain or loss of other coverage.) Qualifying life events must be processed within 30 days following the qualifying life event by logging on to or by calling the benefits service center at 855-889-6524.


Intact conducts an audit of dependents covered under our benefit plans. As part of the verification process, you are required to furnish proof of dependent eligibility to the Benefits Administrator - Benefitfocus.
