Under Intact's Paid Parental Leave program, new parents (mothers and fathers) are eligible for six weeks of paid parental leave to bond with a newborn child or an adopted child up to the age of 13. Eligible employees may take paid parental leave within the first 12 months of a qualifying event.
This program will work in conjunction with our Federal Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) policy, which provides unpaid leave, up to 12 weeks, for certain qualifying reasons, including the birth or adoption of a child.
